The selection and awarding are the responsibility of the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (CFBS).
The Swiss Confederation's excellence scholarships are aimed at young foreign researchers who have completed a master's or doctoral degree and foreign artists holding a bachelor's degree.
